Race Reports 2023

Well done to the 61 starters in today’s 3 events, The Everyday Lions Events Glow Run (women’s championships), The Cahill Family (men’s championships) and Bonneville Consulting (Handicap).

Congratulations to David Murton, who won the handicap race from Stuart Luck and Brendan Burr.

Evan Brett took out the Men’s 10km Championships in a time of 34:48, from Hayden Bishop, and Thomas Murton.

Rhian Miles finished first in the Womens 10km Championships in a time of 39:56, from Lyn Saint-John, and Ellen Burgess.

Nominated time winners were Tom Ridderhof, Hannah Ridderhof and Brian Payne.

Well done to the 49 starters who braved the elements and made their way over to Stanley for the Dowling McCarthy Tyres/Hanson Family “Steve Hanson Memorial” Ace of the Green Hills 8km Handicap.

Congratulations to Nigel Lacey, who won from Brendan Burr, Roselyn Hendricks, Steven Tammens and Tye Binns.

Fastest Male was Thomas Murton in 28:17, and Fastest Female was Rachel Young in 36:46.

Nominated Time winners were Hannah Ridderhof and Cooper Reimer.

Well done to the 27 starters in the High on Penguin Burnie to Ridgley “Mountain Classic” 16.5km Handicap this morning.

Fastest male was Hayden Bishop (1:04:08) while fastest female was Lynette Saint-John (1:19:45).

Well done to all teams/runners in today’s Turners Beach Berry Patch 2×3.5kmx3 Relay Handicap at Turners Beach.

Well done to all competitors today in the Paine Family Memorial 10km at Burnie.
