InterClub Competition

The Teams Race Shields between The Launceston Athletic Club and the PCCCT were last contested in 2007. Originally proposed by the LAC, the first Open Mens Shield was won by the PCCCT in 1978. There are now four shields contested by the best runners representing each club. After nearly thirty years of competition until 2008 only 2003 and 2006 where when the interclub contest was not held. Since 2008 no contest has been arranged.

In the 28 years of competition, the Open shield has been won by our club twelve times. If anyone has further information on any years please contact me… names of team members etc…
